Star Rock Shop is the oldest sweet shop in Scotland, continuously producing rock from the same premises in the Roods of Kirriemuir for nearly 200 years.<\/p>\n

Star Rock is an original recipe using only real oil flavour \u2013 created by a mason who was blinded and had to change jobs in 1833. It was in his family for over 120 years and the recipes have been passed on with each new owner since.<\/p>\n

Star Rock is made on the premises. The main original rock is a light lemon and a very popular flavour is Horehound. You can also find Treacle Toffee, Tablet, and the wee Kirrie secret of Cream Rock. During summer months we also sell Stewart Tower Ice Cream in various flavours.<\/p>\n

The shop used to supply star rock to JM Barrie and send it to London when he moved, it has also been presented to the Queen and HRH Princess Mary.<\/p>\n

Purchases can be made on the website which are available for delivery to any UK postcode.<\/p>\n
