The appearance of Orkney-born Quartet, Fara, is one of the highlights of the current season for Acoustic Music at Montrose Playhouse.

In celebration of their tenth anniversary, Fara embark on several whistle-stop tours of the U.K. returning to some of their favourite venues and towns. We are delighted to have been included in the September leg of the tour, alongside such prestigious venues as the Liverpool Philarmonic Hall, the Queens Hall in Edinburgh and the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness.

Presenting an evening from their three critically acclaimed Albums, Fara’s fiery fiddles, foot-stomping piano and enchanting three-part vocal harmony will take you on a joyful journey through their decade, performing at the forefront of the Scottish Music scene.

Admission to the gig is £19.50, and tickets can be purchased beforehand by emailing brucekenneth130@gmail.com. If the gig is not completely sold-out beforehand, tickets will be available at the door, in exchange for payment of cash. Doors will open at 7.30pm, with music from
8pm.
