Each 6 x 3m cabin is perfect for two people, with a sense of space and good design. In a wooded area near to Redroofs by the Woods holiday cottage, and located next to farm fields, close to Balgavies Loch and Nature Reserve, and beside Montreathmont Forest. There is a sense of country calm and nature connection, but within 15 minutes of Forfar, Brechin and Montrose, with several small villages even closer. A perfect mix of country and town.

These thoughtfully designed cabins offer all the comforts of home in a compact and stylish space. Bumblebee cabin and Barn Owl cabin sit next to each other in a wooded area, separated by privacy fencing. The cabins are a short walk down a lit gravel path from the parking area. In each cabin you will find a comfortable double bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, an en-suite shower room, a cosy table with bar stools for meals, and comfy armchairs sitting next to a small coffee table.

Step outside to enjoy the fresh air and stunning views on your veranda with picnic table and chiminea, or listen to birdsong while lying in a hammock. Each cabin is fully insulated and heated, ensuring a comfortable stay year-round.

The Cabins are pet-friendly – you can bring one (well-behaved) dog. You’ll find a Woofs at Redroofs welcome pack to use while you’re here, with water and food bowls, a dog towel and a blanket.

Caravans, trailers, tents, awnings, canopies and/or wind breaks are not allowed.

To reduce the risk of fire, motorhome visitors should not cook outdoors, use generators or light fires of any kind, including barbeques.

There are no waste disposal facilitates currently provided at this parking area. Visitors are kindly asked to take their waste to a designated waste disposal site or take it home.

Motorhomes much be separated with a minimum clear distance of 4 metres between each vehicle for fire safety.
